Highland Congregational Church is built.

Designed in the Gothic Revival style, it is located at 738 Parker Street. The steeple is destroyed by a fire in the 1970s. The congregation subsequently moves to a building it shares with Trinity Lutheran Church at 1195 Centre Street in Roslindale and the building is purchased by the Spanish Church of God in 1979.
